Soul Love Prague Restaurant

This was fun .-) Client came to us at the end of Covid pandemic telling us “we have tried everything to make this restaurant work again” We want to create fusion restaurant that is bold, eye catching and has a lot of greenery.

It is at the great spot – one of the most important squares in Prague, Wenceslas square.

We decided to make the restaurant look like a jungle.

As you enter the restaurant first thing you see in a coffin full of flowers with citrus trees behind. That is the place where hostess greets you. Making the ceiling and walls dark made all the greenery pop even more

But there was another element to incorporate – owners love art and are collectors and friend with artist.

What we found was that Otto Placht is a Czech painter based in Peru known as “Painter of the Jungle”. That was what we needed – he creates huge paintings of Amazon rainforest. We were able to get from him and print these painting in high resolution on canvas and use them as a background to the seating boxes in the main area of restaurant.

As you proceed further you will pass a spiral staircase to the second floor, beautiful feature that is part of the building.

In the back side of the restaurant is a so called bubble bar.

For bubble bar we had the honour to collaborate with another famous Czech artist - Georg Dokoupil who is worldwide known for his special technic of creating three dimensional illusion of bubbles. We were able to print 12 m long wall with his is incredible artwork.

Atmosphere of the restaurant is underlined by lighting that creates illusion of sunlight shining trough treetops in the jungle.
